Dubai: Twenty five thousand fans are planning to donate blood on Mammootty’s birthday. Mammootty Fans and Welfare Association International is leading the blood donation drive.
Mammootty Fans and Welfare Association International Secretary Safeed Mohammad said that the blood donation, which will be implemented in seventeen countries including India, will start in the last week of August. Safeed said that fan community in UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, America, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, K, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and China are behind this initiative.
At the same time, Mammootty Fans and Welfare Association International Kerala State Committee informed that the arrangements for extensive blood donation in Kerala too have been completed. State President Arun Thiruvananthapuram said that thousands of devotees will donate blood in the coming weeks through various centers in all the fourteen districts. Ahmed Shamim, head of the organization in the UAE, informed that arrangements are being made for blood donation in all the emirates.
