Malena Alterio tells of her disastrous bowling debut: “They were all drug addicts”

Malena Alterio is experiencing one of the sweetest moments of her career. The actress has won every possible award for her performance in Let Nobody Sleep, including the Goya for Best Actress. However, her moment of greatest fame was when she made Aqui no hay que viva, one of her most remembered Spanish series.

As he has said in Martínez y Hermanos, in full swing for playing Belén, one of the most popular characters, Alterio agreed to do gigs for the first time in his career. “It was easy money,” she acknowledged. To earn this extra he only had to go to a nightclub in Valencia and spend some time with the fans of the series taking photos.

When he arrived in Valencia he began to realize that this job was not going to be as simple as they had imagined. “We arrive at a huge esplanade, full of cars and two closets come to guard me. “People were super drunk and other things,” he explained in great detail.

Finally, following crossing a hallway full of people rushing at her, Alterio managed to reach the DJ’s stage to address the audience. He had not prepared himself, he did not know what to say, he saw that the people were very upset and ended up using a mythical phrase from No one lives here: “Good night, a little please.”

He didn’t like the experience at all: “I won’t do these things once more.” However, by contract she had to do two more gigs that she did not want to do alone. “They were all drug addicts,” she said, laughing. So she called Eduardo Gómez, who played Mariano, to accompany her at the following gigs: “I was happy at those types of events. “I was carrying a fanny pack with photos of her and I was handing it out.” Thus, with the company of the remembered actor, she ended up having a good time: “I was happy those days.”
