Jeddah: ‘Hira Cultural District’ has come into existence in Makkah. Makkah Governor Ameer Khalid Al-Faisal inaugurated the Hira Cultural District in a ceremony held at the cultural center located at the foot of Hira Malak. Hajj Umrah Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al Rabia was present.
Samaya Investment Company, which is implementing the project, screened a video on the Hira Cultural District at the event. The governor was presented with a plaque of appreciation. After the inauguration, the Governor visited the cultural center and the exhibition hall.

The CEO said that it is expected to contribute to enriching the religious and cultural experience of Makkah residents, pilgrims and visitors in line with the goals of ‘Vision 2030’.
The Hira Cultural Center has been developed in an area of 67,000 square meters under the supervision of the Makkah and Mashaer Royal Commission in the area of Hira Cave, which is a major tourist destination, as part of the development and maintenance of historical sites. Hirak holds a great place in the conscience of the Muslims of the world as the place where divine revelation was first revealed to the Prophet.
The project includes ‘Vahy’ Gallery, Quran Museum, Hira Park, etc., which tells the story of the prophet’s revelation. For those who want to climb the mountain and reach the cave, work is underway to implement a road with directions and safety measures and other facilities.
