Through a video broadcast by journalist Mari Montes on X, the Yaracuy major leaguer briefly gave his point of view on the current situation the country is going through, reaching a point of being on the verge of tears.
“I hope things get better in Venezuela, since everyone knows what is happening in Venezuela and with us, the Venezuelans. I also want to give a message to stay strong. It touches my heart deeply and… we continue forward.“, Arráez said.
The 27-year-old slugger has been consistently vocal about his views on the country following the July 28 election, in which Nicolás Maduro was announced the winner by the National Electoral Council (CNE).
Arráez, who is a member of the Navegantes del Magallanes, has stood out with batting average numbers of .302with three home runs, 30 RBIs and 140 hits in 464 at-bats.
