The major night fire employed around 230 emergency services. The alarm was received at 10:20 p.m.: A company building in Taufkirchen was on fire. The fire brigades were able to prevent the flames from spreading to neighboring companies and a paint warehouse, and the office wing should not have been affected either. It was a demanding operation, especially with regard to the water supply. Because some lines had to be laid over a distance of one and a half kilometers, alarm level 3 was declared.
The Taufkirchen, Roith, Obertrattnach, Neumarkt, Keneding, Hehenberg, Grieskirchen, Güttling, Kallham and Peuerbach fire brigades were still on site on Wednesday morning. According to initial information, no one was injured.
