Services of the Société des Traversiers du Québec are interrupted between Isle-aux-Coudres and the mainland. Both ships are docked due to damage.
A breakdown in the only ferry operating on October 9 would be the cause of this interruption of service. Already, technical problems prevented the second boat from sailing, forcing an hourly schedule.
Emergency services have been notified. The municipality might initiate its emergency measures plan. The STQ will provide an update at 1 p.m.
