An individual was arrested in the Chasse district of Etterbeek on July 14 in possession of cannabis resin, “poppers”, MDMA, ecstasy, cocaine, “speed” and marijuana, the Montgomery police zone reported on Thursday. The suspect has been placed under an arrest warrant.
“One of our patrols had its attention drawn to an individual who was riding a bicycle in the Chasse district and who seemed inconvenienced by this police presence, leaving the scene hastily,” explained the local police zone. The police carried out a check and a security search. They found the individual was in possession of a switchblade, 19.9 grams of cannabis resin, 24 milliliters of “poppers”, 11.9 grams of MDMA, seven ecstasy pills, some cocaine, “speed” and marijuana.
“A search in flagrante delicto was then carried out in his home, during which the police seized 62 grams of ecstasy, 135 grams of MDMA as well as a little cannabis and cocaine”, specified the zone.
The 39-year-old suspect was made available to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. An investigating judge was seized and decided to place it under arrest warrant.
