A major construction site starts on Monday August 22 in Neuchâtel. The intervention concerns the sector located between the Faubourg du Lac-Ruelle du Fornel and the Faubourg de l’Hôpital, north of the English Garden. The work should last for about a year, with a stop in winter, between January and March. This involves replacing underground pipes for water, gas and electricity as well as laying a new pipe for district heating.
The first stage runs from August 22 to September 22. On this occasion, the Vaucher lane will be closed to traffic between the two suburbs. The excavations will be backfilled for the Harvest Festival. /comm-jhi
