This Sunday at the end of the day, around 5:30 p.m., an accident that was impressive to say the least occurred in rue des Grands Prés, between Chênée and Vaux-sous-Chèvremont.
In circumstances that have not been communicated to us, a motorist lost control of his car. It then struck several vehicles that were parked on the side of the road. At least two of these vehicles sustained extensive damage.
Fortunately, according to our information, there were no injuries. The driver was obviously helped by witnesses to the accident to get out of his vehicle.
The Liège firefighters confirm that if an extrication vehicle had initially been sent to the site, it turned around.
Traffic was halted and diverted while the injured vehicles were cleared.
