Maintaining self-care on busy days – Health and Wellness

Looking for how to maintain self-care on busy days? Do you want to give yourself something special? Read this note to get some ideas.

Masks
Face masks are an easy and affordable way to take that extra step of self-love. You can wear it while watching a movie, cleaning your room, coloring, etc. There are also many types of masks that anyone can use, some for acne, hydrating, firming, and more.

You can use mask sheets or apply a mask with your hands or with a brush. There are also many face masks with cute designs, like a panda or a koala. If you use the masks more frequently, you will notice that your skin improves little by little. It’s also a fun activity if you want to try new skin care.

Toilets
Baths are a great way to relax during the day. You can add candles, bath salts, bath bombs, a fancy drink, whatever you want to give that luxurious experience. If you prefer, listen to a playlist or you can keep it quiet for a quieter time. The bathrooms are an opportunity to think about what you want to achieve and how to solve the current problems you have. There is no one to interrupt you and your phone is not bursting with a bunch of messages. You can then wrap yourself in a fluffy towel, apply some lotion, and sleep.

Nail polish
Getting your nails done at home is an easy way to boost your confidence without spending a fortune. It will make you feel better when you put on that pair of flip flops the next day. As someone who rarely takes the time to do it, when I do it I enjoy being able to see the color on my nails. It’s also an opportunity to listen to a podcast or your favorite comfort show. You can add some sparkles or different designs to go with the season or your favorite movie characters.

Eat well
Give yourself the nutrition your body needs. If you’ve had a busy day at work and haven’t had a chance to grab a bite to eat, now is the time. If you like to cook, plan a meal that you can prepare and know will make your body feel good, or order takeout if you want. Having food in your body will make you feel happier and more prepared to face the rest of the day. Invite your friends over for dinner, talking to people about what’s going on in your life can be therapeutic.

Do your hair routine
Whatever makes you feel the most confident when it comes to your hair, do it! Use your deep conditioning masks and apply those hydrating products. Your hair will feel soft and fluffy. If you want to do your hair before the next morning, do it! If drying and straightening your hair before work will save you time and energy, it’s worth doing now. Now you can pose in the mirror and admire your work. Take the time to try out that hairstyle you posted on Pinterest three months ago that you haven’t done yet. Add some pretty clips or scrunchies.

Listening to music is a way to cheer up, to cry profusely, to vent anger, of everything you want to feel. You feel less alone when there is an artist who can relate to what you are going through. It is a way to heal from a situation and move on forever. You don’t need to explain to anyone why you feel a certain way, you can go through it yourself. It is also a way to dance in your living room and scream at the top of your lungs, improving your mood. It can also be background noise while you’re cooking, cleaning, or getting ready to go out.
