Dadang conveyed the importance of maintaining inflation stability because it greatly affects all aspects of people’s lives. “Why must it be controlled? Because it greatly affects all aspects of life. Inflation must be maintained to be stable, but not too high and not too low,” said Dadang.

Deputy of BI Tegal Representative Office, Teguh Triyono, wants Kios Pandai to be able to help TPID Tegal City in controlling the prices of the main commodities of the community’s basic needs. “Considering that Tegal City is one of the cities calculated by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS),” explained Teguh.

Teguh said that along with the inauguration of the Pandai Kiosk, the Tegal City TPID again held the Cheap Food Movement (GPM). “There are 2,500 kg of rice, including 500 kg of granulated sugar, 500 liters of cooking oil, 300 kg of chicken eggs, 100 kg of shallots, 50 kg of red chilies provided in the GPM in Tegal City at affordable prices,” said Teguh.

According to Teguh, the inauguration of the Kios Pandai Karya Mina and GPM coincided with the annual routine sea alms event held at KUD Karya Mina, which is a partner of the Tegal City TPID in maintaining the stability of the prices of basic commodities.

“Kios Pandai Karya Mina will fulfill the basic needs especially of the fishermen community of Tegal City at a more affordable price,” concluded Teguh. (N-2)
