AlipayHK gives away 50GB data phone card
Alipay has recently partnered with China Telecom, Shenzhen Link Center, and Jinguanghua Plaza to offer phone cards with a stored value of RMB 100 to Hong Kong people holding return permits. China Telecom’s monthly communication fee is RMB 29, which provides 20GB of general data and 30GB of targeted data (for use on Douyin, iQiyi, etc.), while the mainland call fee is RMB 0.1 per minute. The stored value of RMB 100 is enough to pay for 3 months, a total of regarding 150GB of data, and the monthly call fee. In essence, you get a phone SIM card with 150GB of data for free for 3 months, which makes it very worthwhile.
How to redeem free Mainland Internet SIM card
The redemption process is simple. From now until July 31, just collect the electronic coupon in the AlipayHK App and then go to the customer service desk on the G floor of Link Center City at the designated Shenzhen Futian Port or the Huawei store in Jinguanghua Plaza at Luohu Port. Show your homecoming permit and electronic coupon to obtain a phone card. However, please be aware that this offer is only available to new users of China Telecom phone cards. If you have previously applied for a China Telecom phone card, you are not eligible for this free phone card offer.
