MAHLE opens Americas Engineering Center for Filters in Jundiaí (SP)
MAHLE’s Jundiaí (SP) Tech Center, which completed 15 years in 2023, is expanding its structure to receive a new Americas Engineering Center for Filters, which will serve, in addition to South and Central America, also North America. The operation, inaugurated on the 15th, includes the complete development of products for the components market, such as air filtration systems, intake manifolds, valve covers, carbon canisters, plastic crankcases, air filters , oil and fuel, among other specific products, as well as technologies for applications in electric and fuel cell vehicles.

The concentration of the development of the family of filters and peripherals for Brazil and the United States in Jundiaí is the result of this initiative. These products were already developed in the country, but only for the national market in uses that serve passenger cars, trucks, buses and agricultural vehicles.

To create the Americas Engineering Center for Filters, the tech center’s workforce was expanded. Initially, an additional 30 highly qualified professionals were hired to the existing staff. The Jundiaí Tech Center is one of the largest research and development centers in South America, with resources dedicated to the development of sustainable mobility, considering all technological routes.
