The Lebanese actress said that the character “Sahar”, which she plays in the series “For Death”, tired her, adding that she is currently on a break.
Actress Maguy Bou Ghosn spoke in an interview with Al-Arabiya.net regarding the series “For Death 3”, through which she appeared in this Ramadan season, stressing that the character Sahar, who embodied her in the first and second seasons, and then became her name Samar in the third season, is one of the most important characters that She embodied it during her acting career.
She added that this character left an imprint in her archive because she loved the role and played it from her heart, “and the role also loved her,” according to Bou Ghosn, recalling that it was formulated by writer Nadine Asmar while it was filmed by director Philip Asmar’s camera.
Bou Ghosn also confirmed in the same context that she gave this role what she had not been given before during her acting career, and she was surprised by herself that she had all this ability to embody it.
She revealed that the personality of Sahar tired her in the three parts, and indicated that she does not carry this character home with her, but rather separates her work and her private life, but she spoke of a similarity between her role in the series and her true personality, especially in the strength of the character and her ability to make decisions, and her toughness and tenderness in the same time. However, she confirmed that she does not agree with this character at all in terms of distress and sadness, and how she goes to extremes in crime and murder.
Bou Ghosn also indicated that a good role “provokes” her and is her playground, whether in drama or comedy, and she thinks deeply regarding how she can embody it.
And in the conversation, she touched on Tunisia, where the third part of the series was filmed, and said that this “country is wonderful, beautiful with its homes, colors, greenery, and its people as well, who welcomed us with remarkable hospitality and love.” Among the phrases that I memorized there were “ha-ha-ha” and “I miss you so much.”
Finally, she saw that choosing a new role to embody following the end of the series “For Death 3” would be difficult for her, so she is currently on a break.
