Now the 25-year-old is taking part in the WTA 500 tournament in San Diego, where she advanced to the main draw at night Polish time. In the decisive qualifying round, she faced the host representative Hailey Baptiste (WTA 169). The Pole started the match with a quick 3-0 lead with two breaks. Although her opponent managed to make up for some of the losses, our tennis player did not let herself catch up and won 6:4.

In addition to Fręch, there will be Iga Świątek (2nd WTA) and Magda Linette (24th WTA), who is also taking part in the tournament in San Diego.
