Critic Magda Khairallah said that the position of the artist Muhammad Salam regarding his apology for not participating in a play in the Riyadh season does not offend anyone.
Magda Khairallah continued, during a television intervention on the “Details” program, by broadcaster Nihal Tayel, shown on Sada El Balad 2 channel: “Mohamed Salam could have participated in the play, but the escalation of events made him expect that the play might be stopped, like some artistic activities such as the El Gouna and Cairo Film Festivals, but This did not happen and he took a humane and noble stance and did not treat anyone’s behavior in a bad way.”
Magda Khairallah indicated that she was surprised by the speech of the artist Bayoumi Fouad during the last performance of the play, and he gave a very bad review and then delivered a speech that was insulting to art and insulting itself.
Magda Khairallah added that Bayoumi Fouad’s stance against Mohamed Salam aroused her extreme dissatisfaction: “Bayoumi Fouad says, ‘We are not coming to laugh.. What is this, this is a comedy show.. You are insulting your art.’”
It is noteworthy that the details program is shown on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday of every week from 8 pm until 10 pm. It is a social program and is presented by Nihal Tayel on Sada El Balad 2 satellite channel.
