The ruler of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduronoted that “Fascism has failed in Venezuela” but warned that “We must consolidate the victory In the face of hatred, lies, manipulation, and the dirty campaign that has replaced politics as a human good,” he said on Monday, August 19, during a meeting with the national leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Great Patriotic Pole (GPP), where the governors of 19 states and the mayor of Caracas, A/J. Carmen Melendez.

“It is clear who has led the attack of hatred and poisoning against Venezuelan society”he said. He argued that the traditional opposition parties have disappeared and that “Now it is the one-voice hegemony which is imposed by force and by hook or by crook.”

He warned artists who do not support him: “Decide if you want to continue your careers, first of all, with your families in Venezuela” and he rebuked them: “They use them, pay them, and then abandon them.”

He called for building three rings of strength to build socialism. The first, the PSUV and the Great Patriotic Pole in expansion; united people, street by street; without delay, consolidate it together.”

The second ring of strength is the consolidation in the territory, in the social sectors and in their organizational forms, and the third is linked to all productive, social and cultural factors. In this sense, he called for unifying alliances with all productive sectors, as well as religious and cultural beliefs in the country.

The president said he hopes to win all of the country’s governorships and at least 300 mayoralties next year.
