Maduro supports the creation of a single currency in Latin America

Nicolás Maduro, President of the Republic, showed his support for the creation of a single currency in Latin America that will be discussed at the summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), which begins this Tuesday in Argentina.

“Venezuela is ready and we support the initiative to create a Latin American and Caribbean currency. Independence, union and liberation of Latin America and the Caribbean! ”, The president exclaimed this Monday in the middle of his speech for the march on January 23 that promoted the ruling party to request an end to the sanctions.

The initiative comes from the heads of state of Argentina (Alberto Fernández) and Brazil (Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva) and it will be discussed this week at the meetings that will take place in Buenos Aires.
