Maduro spreads the Qatar agreement signed with the US in 2023

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stated that he is willing to resume dialogue with the United States (US), if it “respects the sovereignty” of the country.

This was announced on his account on the social network X, where he also indicated that these conversations will be resumed based on “a single point: ‘Qatar’s compliance’.”

“I have always been in dialogue. If the US government is willing to respect sovereignty and stop threatening #Venezuela, we can resume #Dialogue but based on a single point: “Qatar’s compliance.” This is the record of that negotiation,” Maduro said.

In this way, the head of state fulfilled his commitment to publish these documents on his social networks as part of a “strategy to demonstrate the transparency and effectiveness of the negotiations,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
