This Friday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, offered a balance of the assets that have been seized in the operations once morest corruption and that are going to be used “in favor of the people.”
In an act to promulgate the Organic Law of Asset Forfeiture, the national president took the opportunity to publicize what now belongs to the State and that it was in the hands of “corrupt.”
He said that a total of 1,007 assets have been seized, among which are: six buildings, 38 luxury apartments, 28 mansions, 16 “giant offices”, four large plots of land in urban areas.

In addition to seven companies, 13 business complexes with warehouses and construction materials, a club, posed, 361 high-end vehicles, 52 new trucks, nine motorcycles and the same number of buses.
They have also found 23 heavy machinery, 19 “first level” aircraft, seven boats and a group of weapons.

The seized assets will be used “to meet the needs of the people,” Maduro said, others will be sold in accordance with what the national president said and with that money the health system, among others, will be served.
Maduro pointed out that they have also seized 71 mansions, a luxury apartment, business complexes, warehouses, 62 vehicles and 17 aircraft from drug traffickers.
During the act of promulgation of the Extinction Law, Maduro took the opportunity to deliver part of those vehicles that will be used in government missions, as well as a boat that is used to transport materials.

He ordered the state security forces to act “within the framework of the Constitution and the laws to get all the money that was stolen.”
