This Friday, May 20, four years following his re-election, Nicolás Maduro, President of the Republic, launched the Good Government 1×10 program from the Caracas Polyhedron.
Accompanied by the entire high government, ministers and some local authorities, the president asked everyone to work under this guideline and asked the population to commit to it, since that way they will be able to solve all the problems that exist in the country.
Maduro called on everyone to register their 1×10 through the Patria system and thus have everything organized when dealing with a problem.
“You have 60 days to register, activate yourself through the Patria system from this moment on,” he said.
In addition to 1×10, Maduro launched a kind of new government program, since he indicated that six new lines of action should be governed.
The first of these is: Advance and consolidate the comprehensive economic recovery of the country.
He asked to strengthen the productive engines in order to achieve the stability of the fundamental economic markers.
The second is to ensure plans for the development and human, rewarding and protecting the people. He made special mention of the salary issue.
The third line of action is: Ensure the right to the environment, to the city and to public services.
Maduro said that he is going to be “blunt with public services, ecology, planting trees in the country, caring for rivers and nature (…) living by living.”
The next point is to guarantee and promote the participation of popular power for good governance. For this, it needs the communal councils, the Clap, the communes, the street bosses, Ubch, social movements, among others.
The fifth line is to defend national integrity, sovereignty, peace and strengthen the role of Venezuela in the new world geopolitics.
While the sixth line is to consolidate a new system of justice, citizen security and peace quadrants to fight crime.
The priorities
Once the lines of action were detailed, the head of state asked that attention be paid to three fundamental issues: water, public education and the health system.
“Prioritize the problems and that the people are not left without an answer,” ordered Maduro in his speech, since in this way they will be able to advance in the recovery of the country.
He added that they must use the Concrete Agenda for Action as well as apply the Map of Solutions and commissioned the Minister of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, to do so.
He demanded that there should be a municipal, state and national Map of Solutions. In addition to working with several ministers.
He also called on the population to denounce the problems they have, especially those related to health. “We have to attack the hospital mafias.”
“This pod has to change, so that there is quality service, the population that demands it,” Maduro exclaimed in the middle of his speech.
He indicated that they will be able to do so through the Ven application, using line 58.
