Maduro calls for action on hate speech against Ridery

President Nicolás Maduro has asked the Attorney General’s Office to take action once morest hate speech once morest the transportation company Ridery and its CEO, Gerson David Gómez.

He said they were “hate messages from people threatening to burn, shoot and attack.”

“They are horrible testimonies of fascism, but they will not reach Venezuela here (…) I absolutely reject the fascist attack,” he emphasized.

He also accused journalist Orlando Avendaño of spreading “hate comments” towards the company, writing on his X account:

In light of this, he urged the population not to allow intolerance.

Maduro and Ridery

Maduro used a taxi from the well-known transfer application Ridery to get to an event at the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.

The car was driven by the founder of this company, Gerson David Gómez.
