Maduro approves reform of the Entrepreneurship Law

President Nicolás Maduro approved a reform of the Law for the Promotion and Development of New Enterpriseswhich was sent to the National Assembly for consideration.

The project aims to improve legal conditions and provide greater protection for entrepreneurs in the country.

The Government’s finance team proposed the project with the aim of adapting it to the needs of entrepreneurs. In the words of the president at the Teresa Carreño Theatre, “Today, 10,000 new financings are being released for new entrepreneurs.”

For her part, Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez explained that the reform, which mainly refers to the registration of enterprises. The aim is to extend its validity, which is currently two years.

If the company expands, entrepreneurs will not have to register every 2 years, so they can focus on the growth and development of their businesses and avoid bureaucratic procedures.

The law was created in 2021, the purpose of which is to promote the development of new ventures “and an entrepreneurial culture aimed at increasing and diversifying the production of goods and services”as well as the deployment of innovations and their incorporation into the economic and social development of the Nation, reported the Presidential Press.
