The 64-year-old Madonna is still ‘weak and very tired’ and would spend a lot of time in bed.

The first performance of the “Celebration” tour was scheduled for July 15 in Vancouver, but this has been postponed. No new information regarding a new tour schedule has been announced at this time.

Tour manager Guy Oseary has announced that Madonna is expected to make a full recovery. The New York Post was able to see that the next tickets available were from Tuesday, July 18 in Seattle.

It seems Madonna hasn’t told her loved ones about her tour since she fell ill.

Over the weekend, her good friend Rosie O’Donnell reassured the singer’s fans that she was doing “fine” after being bombarded with questions on Instagram.

“She’s recovering at home, she’s really strong in general,” Rosie O’Donnell replied to a follower.

Sources report that she is still very ill and still bedridden since being released from the hospital.

She reportedly had a fever for a month before being found unconscious at her New York home. She was reportedly intubated to intensive care last week.

Her eldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, 26, was reportedly with her throughout.

It seems that she would have insisted on rehearsing more than 12 hours a day for her show and that she would “burn out” to compete with younger artists.

She also worked alongside dancers who were “a fraction of her age”.

Madonna has not personally addressed her condition, and it remains unclear what type of bacterial infection she suffered.

Madonna Louise Ciccone, born in August 1958 in Michigan, to parents of French-speaking Italian and Canadian origins, began her career as a dancer, author, composer and singer in the late 1970s in New York, with 35 dollars in her pocket.

She has won seven Grammy Awards, including 14 studio albums as well as live records, film soundtracks, compilations…

Her career as a producer, actress and film director has made her one of the most influential and wealthy artists and businesswomen on the planet for 40 years.
