Madonna on Tuesday denounced the “misogyny and intolerance” of critics who took aim at her look following her appearance at the Grammy Awards last Sunday. “You won’t break my soul”, launched the singer in reference to Beyoncé’s hit Break My Soul.
“And I’m not talking regarding the photographer’s zooms with his telephoto lens which would distort anyone’s face!”, She added on her Instagram account. “Once once more, I am a victim of ageism and misogyny that is pervasive in our world.”

“This world refuses to honor women over 45 and feels the need to punish them if they continue to be strong-minded, enterprising and daring,” continues the 64-year-old singer, who is regarding to do a world tour.
“I have been criticized by the media since the beginning of my career,” she denounces. “I understand it’s a test. I’m happy to have been a pioneer to make it easier for those who came following me.”
