Mades and Itaipú signal settlement to create new biosphere reserve

Asunción, IP Company.- The Ministry of Surroundings and Sustainable Improvement (Mades) and Itaipú Binacional have signed a cooperation settlement geared toward boosting the creation of a brand new Biosphere Reserve, in addition to strengthening the protected areas of the Moisés Bertoni Pure Monument and Ñacunday Nationwide Park.

The signing of the settlement was attended by Minister Rolando De Barros Barreto, on behalf of Mades, and administrators common Justo Zacarías Irún (Paraguay) and Enio Verri (Brazil), on behalf of Itaipu Binacional.

The occasion happened through the twenty second Assembly of the Govt Council of the IberoMaB Community and the primary seminar of the coaching program of the IberoMaB Community 2024-2025, which addresses matters of “Local weather change and biodiversity within the Ibero-American and Caribbean area ”, within the metropolis of Hernandarias, Alto Paraná.

This strategic alliance between Mades and Itaipu Binacional represents a mutual dedication to the safety and conservation of pure areas, as a way to protect the nation’s biodiversity.
