Good news for users. The latest version of macOS will allow you to ring an AirTag.
Have you ever tried ringing an AirTag with your mac? Unfortunately, it is not possible to do so at present. Fortunately, the latest macOS beta finally allows you to ring an AirTag via the Locate application. This is a behavior identical to that of other Apple brand devices such as the iPhone or iPad. Thanks to this, Apple fixes what seems to be a small oversight.
Currently, the Locate application of macOS allows you to have information relating to the location of the AirTag (where an AirTag is, to obtain a route to it or to switch to “Lost” mode). But strangely, no possibility of ringing it.
The new version of macOS Ventura should be available in the coming weeks.
