Macky Sall’s plea to the UN: “Africa has suffered enough of the burden of history”

Macky Sall addressed the UN General Assembly. The Senegalese Head of State and Chairman of the African Union reiterated his call for the granting of a seat to the AU within the G20. He also called for the continent to be given more of a voice in the UN Security Council.
