“Poles are not supposed to know the truth (…). The entire plane has traces of explosions and explosives,” former Minister of National Defense Antoni Macierewicz said on Wednesday. The meeting he organized was also attended by – as Macierewicz said – representatives of the Smolensk subcommittee, including: Wojciech Fabianowski and Capt. Janusz Więckowski.

Lies, absurdities, disinformation – this is how Antoni Macierewicz began Wednesday’s meeting, which was the result of the report on the Smolensk subcommittee, which was presented on October 24 by the current head of the Ministry of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, together with the appointed experts.
Antoni Macierewicz said that “the entire Tu-154M plane has traces of explosions and explosives.”
The presence of explosives on board the plane has been documented by us (…). Dozens of post-explosion curls were the result of the explosion inside the plane, he added.
The essence of Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz’s message was that he did not say anything sensible about it (explosions – editor’s note). The person who reported this has no knowledge of such research at all, said the former head of the Ministry of National Defense.
Today, Donald Tusk and representatives of some media associated with him want to attack, lie and disinform. They want to present a lie about the Russian crime in Polish society. Just like the lie about the Russian crime was introduced in the Katyn case, said Antoni Macierewicz.
Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz formulates a message according to which I am a man full of hatred, I divided the Polish nation, I lied to the Polish nation (…). What is the lie, division and hatred? The fact that we are telling the truth about the Smolensk crime – said the former head of the Ministry of National Defense.
Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz is deceiving public opinion. He and those who repeat his lies – said the former minister.
During the presentation, among others, photos and projections of the Smolensk subcommittee’s experiments made on a model of the Tu-154M passenger section. The expert found that the roof of the Tu-154M passenger section had not survived, said a member of the Smolensk subcommittee invited by Antoni Macierewicz.
Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz’s team made a ridiculous accusation: that the subcommittee commissioned different institutions to conduct the same expertise. Firstly, not the same ones, but modified ones, and secondly, it should be clear that sometimes it is necessary to verify the research conducted – he added.
Earlier on Wednesday, the commission on Russian influence announced that it wanted the prosecutor’s office to investigate whether Macierewicz, as head of the Ministry of National Defense, had committed diplomatic treason.
Gen. Stróżyk about “diplomatic betrayal”. There will be a motion regarding Macierewicz
Article 129 of the Penal Code, which deals with diplomatic treason, states that “whoever, being authorized to act on behalf of the Republic of Poland in relations with the government of a foreign state or a foreign organization, acts to the detriment of the Republic of Poland, shall be subject to the penalty of imprisonment from one to 10 years.”

The Smolensk Mystery: A Comedy of Errors
Well, folks, it seems we’re still tangled up in the twisted tale of Antoni Macierewicz and the infamous Smolensk plane crash. I mean, if you thought your family Christmas dinner was filled with completely absurd conspiracy theories, just wait until you hear about this fiasco! This gentleman, incredibly, is convinced the entire truth about what happened with the Tu-154M is hidden from us like a dodgy pair of socks in the back of your cupboard.
Explosions? Really?!
Our former Minister of National Defense, Ms. Macierewicz—no, that’s not a typo, I meant Mr.—has decided to spice up our lives with claims that “the entire Tu-154M plane has traces of explosions and explosives.” That’s right! Forget the standard fare of “bad weather” or “pilot error”; we’re heading straight for the good stuff, like C4 and confusion!
“The person who reported this has no knowledge of such research at all,” Macierewicz said regarding his critics. Maybe he missed the part in the research methods textbook about “evidence” and “quantifiable facts.”
Political Drama
It sounds like the meeting this week could easily double as a political soap opera. Someone should really call the directors of EastEnders; we might just have the next big hit on our hands! Donald Tusk and the media are apparently on a massive misinformation mission, plotting to confuse us all, or as Macierewicz would say, “just like with the Katyn case!”
Scientific Shenanigans
Macierewicz is also waging war on the current Minister of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, claiming his research is laughable—though I have a feeling that’s a touch ironic given the circus this has all become. They provide photos, projections, and even experiments on a model of the Tu-154M. That’s right, folks! Nothing says “thorough investigation” like a weekend science fair project!
“The roof of the Tu-154M passenger section had not survived,” said a subcommittee expert. Really? I’m shocked! Next you’ll tell me that the impressionist painting in the Louvre is just a fancy print!
Diplomatic Treachery or Farce?
Adding a bit of legal tension to our comedy script, there’s talk of potential charges against Macierewicz for “diplomatic treason.” That sounds serious! Article 129 of the Penal Code is a bit of a mouthful but essentially says if you act against Poland’s best interest, you might just be in hot water. So, if he’s serving up conspiracy theories like hotcakes at a diner, maybe he should also be checking out the cells for his next holiday!
To summarize: we have an ex-minister declaring explosions in places no one expected, accusations of lies and hatred flying faster than a courier pigeon on caffeine, and all the drama of a medieval jousting match—complete with the gallant knights on either side refusing to budge! Is it any wonder we find ourselves stuck in this loop of entertainment?
Conclusion
As we navigate this chaotic landscape, one thing is clear: the truth is probably out there, buried beneath layers of political antics, media manipulation, and an all-star cast of characters who’d make even the most seasoned soap opera veteran proud. So, stay tuned! Who knows, the next episode could have even more explosive developments—figuratively, of course. Remember, laughter is the best medicine, especially when the news is a comedy of errors!
Iments on a model of the Tu-154M to support their wild claims, but it seems that instead of clarity, we’re left with more questions. The accusations swirl around like confetti at a parade—Kosiniak-Kamysz’s team, according to Macierewicz, is guilty of commissioning redundant expertise while he believes his approach to verifying research is *absolutely* necessary. Sounds a tad like the pot calling the kettle black, doesn’t it?
Legal Quandaries
In what feels like an episode of a legal drama, the commission on Russian influence has now put forward a motion for the prosecution to investigate if Macierewicz committed diplomatic treason. I mean, who wouldn’t want to see a former Minister of Defense get wrapped up in a courtroom showdown? Article 129 of the Penal Code is waiting in the wings, ready to lay down some hard facts about acting to the detriment of the Republic of Poland. Crime and politics—we’re just one election away from the next installment!
The Smolensk Enigma Continues
At the end of the day, the Smolensk saga remains as perplexing and deeply controversial as ever. With the constant clash of opinions, research findings that often contradict, and political battles reminiscent of high-stakes wrestling, it’s a real-life drama that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. Who knew truth and transparency could be this entertaining? Grab your popcorn, folks; it looks like we’re in for a long ride!
