The AppleCare Protection Plan offer allows the purchaser of a new Mac to extend the warranty up to three years. With the new MacBook Pros presented this Tuesday, its price is increasing.
A few days ago, Apple already revised upwards the price of a large part of the services that the brand offers. Apple Arcade, Apple TV+ and Apple One each display prices higher by €3 per month, an increase on the annual bill of around €36. And it seems that this increase in the price of services is only the beginning, since another product offered by Apple, AppleCare, is seeing its price increase.
As reported by the Belgian media @AppleGeek on X, the prices of the warranty extension service for MacBook Pros are being revised upwards. For 14-inch MacBook Pros equipped with the M2 chip, AppleCare cost €249. It is currently priced at €279. As for the 16-inch version, it goes from €349 to €399.
The AppleCare Protection Plan allows the customer to extend the warranty of their newly purchased product to three years, with the repair of parts such as the battery, accessories, memory or even the entire computer. The service also guarantees priority access to support with Apple experts.
