MacBook Air with “M3” chip could be released this year

With the announcement of the chips M2 Pro e M2 Maxwhich equip the new 14-inch and 16-inch Mac mini and MacBook Pro, probably now only needs the launch of the “M2 Ultra” for the Apple complete the line of its second generation of processors.

The rumors, however, do not give a break and are already addressing the next line of SoCsSystem on a chipor system on a chip.”>1 of Apple, namely “M3”. According to a new report by the DigiTimesfor example, the company may announce a new MacBook Air already second half of this year.

The supply chain is more focused on the more affordable MacBook Air, which is expected to be updated in the second half of 2023 and might be equipped with a 3nm processor.

As seen above, they pointed out that the “M3” chip will be produced from a process of 3 nanometers — what had already been speculated by the Taiwanese vehicle at the end of 2021, say. However, no additional details regarding the design or specifications of this possible new MacBook Air were provided – nor a more specific release schedule.

A little less than a year ago, however, some rumors regarding a possible 15″ MacBook Air began to emerge — which was corroborated by journalist Mark Gurman and analyst Ross Young. According to speculation, the launch of this machine would take place this year, in fact.

Considering the second half as a whole, the possibility that Apple will introduce new MacBooks Air in October or November of this year is reasonable, considering that the current model was released in June of last year – so a new model in this first part of the year would be “hasty”, as noted by reporter Joe Rossignol.

New 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Airs with M3 (3nm) chips in October or November 2023 would certainly make sense. The rumored 15-inch MacBook Air this spring looks soon — that would be just 8 to 11 months following the launch of the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip. We’ll see! ????

With regard to forecasts made by the DigiTimeshowever, it is always good to be cautious, because the same authors of the vehicle who made today’s predictions previously stated that the 14″ and 16″ MacBooks Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips would be “postponed” beyond the beginning of 2023, which was obviously incorrect.

we are left wait seeing is believing.
