M6 will broadcast this evening the interview given to American TV by Prince Harry before the release of his memoirs, TF1 in the process to broadcast the other interview granted by the Duke of Sussex to a British channel. M6 has acquired “the exclusive rights to Prince Harry’s interview with the star journalist of the CBS channel, Anderson Cooper”, scheduled for Sunday across the Atlantic in the program “60 Minutes”, the channel announced in a press release.
The interview will be broadcast “as part of a special edition of 19:45 presented by Xavier de Moulins on Monday January 9”, she said.
TF1 had announced that it would broadcast “exclusively in France” at 11:10 p.m., the other interview given by the 38-year-old prince to the British channel ITV, also expected on January 8 across the Channel. These interviews precede by a few days the publication of Prince Harry’s book, “The Substitute”, of which many startling revelations have already leaked in the press.
The prince exiled in the United States recounts in particular having killed 25 “enemy combatants” in Afghanistan, a violent altercation with his brother William, having taken cocaine, or his opposition to the remarriage of his father Charles, now king.
In addition to the interview with CBS (also available on 6play), M6 will broadcast two documentaries on Monday followingnoon as part of the magazine “Un Jour, un doc”: “Harry, Meghan, war has been declared” and “Kate and William: the triumph of love”.
