Venezia has made it clear that Tanner Tessmann is out of his project for this season, so after failing at Inter and Fiorentina he is moving, now he is close to Olympique Lyonnais.
The USMNT midfielder is in the final year of his contract with the Lagunari, who earned promotion to the top flight via the Serie B play-offs this summer.
A transfer was agreed with Inter which then fell apart, then the same thing happened with Fiorentina, frustrating the Serie A club to the point of excluding him from the team.
Tessmann on Lyon’s radar
According to Actu Foot in FranceNow Olympique Lyonnais has agreed a personal deal with the player and is trying to convince Venezia to sell him.
It is believed that he could be purchased for less than €10 million, considering the situation in which he is out of the plans.
The player will turn 23 next month and will have two senior appearances for the USMNT team.
He was purchased by FC Dallas in the summer of 2021 for 3.64 million euros, playing 20 games in Serie A and 69 in Serie B.
