SINGER Lyodra Ginting has released another album which he entitled Stepping. This is Lyodra’s second album after previously releasing his debut album in 2021 entitled Lyodra.
The album released by Universal Music Indonesia contains eight songs, four of which have been released as singles, namely Tak Always Have (OST Brother-in-law Is Death), Ego, and two songs which became number one on the Indonesian music charts, namely Sang Goddess and Unregarded.
Meanwhile, four other songs have just been released at the same time as the Meangkat album, namely Embarrassed But Comfortable, Sana Sini Mau, Say Missing, and Never Come Back.

This album is very special because Lyodra not only shows his undoubted ability as a singer, but also shows his ability as a songwriter through several songs.
This is in accordance with the meaning of the album title Meangkat, with this album being Lyodra’s first step in various aspects, one of which is Lyodra strengthening his steps as a songwriter on the songs Malu Malu Tapi Nyaman, Sana Sini Mau, and Never Return.
Not only that, this album is also Lyodra’s first step in singing a remake of the song Sang Dewi.

“Why is the title Stepping? “Because during the making process there were many things that made me go further through new things, one of which was by co-creating the song, that really meant a lot to me,” said Lyodra about his album at the Album Listening Session event which was held at CGV Grand Indonesia, Jakarta, Thursday. (10/10).
On his new album, Lyodra collaborated with some of the best musicians and songwriters in the Indonesian music industry, namely Andi Rianto, Yovie Widianto, Ade Govinda, Mario G. Klau, Tohpati, S/EEK, and Clara Riva.
The single Shy, Shy But Comfortable is the focus track
On this album, Lyodra created two songs, one of which is Malu Malu But Comfortable which is the focus track on this Meangkat album.

This song itself has a romance theme which tells about unexpected love from the first meeting suddenly until it creates a feeling in the heart to belong to each other.
“The story is really simple, you meet someone unexpectedly, you like it, you fall in love. But, sometimes we like to be shy, even though it actually makes us comfortable when we’re around the person. Well, many people may have experienced this and relate to this song. “That’s why this song was made quite simple and cheerful,” said Lyodra.
The arrangement is very catchy and groovy, presenting a cheerful pop rhythm nuance wrapped with Lyodra’s distinctive vocals, making it very comfortable to enjoy.

Meanwhile, the music video is also made colorful and fun from a visual perspective. Taking the background of a park, this music video shows many dance scenes which are very exciting and cheerful. Oh yes, this music video was done by EUIS Studio and directed by Timo.
Lyodra hopes that this second album can be a step that strengthens his existence in the world of music through the songs he has released and the 4 new songs in it.
“I hope this album can be accepted and listened to by many music lovers in Indonesia. “It can also accompany me in my steps to work more actively in the country’s music industry,” he hoped.
