LVBP 2024-2025 season will be in honor of Víctor Davalillo

The Board of Directors of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), announced this Friday, July 12, that the 2024-2025 season will be played in honor of Victor Davalillo.

The decision was made following the approval of the eight participating teams, at the end of the first day of the Annual Convention, which takes place in Cancun, Mexico.

The legendary “Vitico” Davalillo, a glory of national sport, passed away on December 6 in Caracas, at the age of 84.

Representatives of the charter circuit contacted the Davalillo family, who approved the tribute.

They also announced that the regular round will begin on October 15.
