Free screenings of the finalist films of the LUX Audience Award throughout Austria in May and June
Five films were nominated for the third edition of the LUX Audience Award. This year’s finalist films are Alcarras (The Last Harvest) by Carla Simón, Dry Days (Burning Days) von Emin Alper, Close by Luke Dhont Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Ostlund and Swampfire (Irrlicht) von João Pedro Rodrigues.
The films will be shown on the following days in the following Austrian cities with free admission and in the original version:
- 11. Mai – Graz, Schubertkino (Mehlplatz 2) – 6:00 p.m. Welcome Drink, 7:00 p.m. “Kurak Günler / Burning Days”. More info & registration here.

The LUX Audience Award aims to celebrate the diversity of European film and raise awareness of social, political and cultural issues in Europe. Viewers have the opportunity to vote for the winning film.
