Lupita Nyong’o is dating Selema Masekela.
The ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ star has made her relationship with the 51-year-old Instagram sports reporter official, and they both posted the same video of them snapping their fingers and changing clothes while ‘The King’s Affirmation’ Iniko plays on the bottom.
Lupita, 39, captioned her post:
‘We just click! [emoji de corazón] @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid’.
And Selema wrote in hers:
‘Hearts are in sync. My total and real love @lupitanyongo. [tres emojis de corazón] #outkickedthecoverage [emoji de cara de guiño]’.
Lupita’s celebrity friends were quick to comment on the posts, with Ava DuVernay sharing a black heart emoji, while Janelle Monae added two heart-eyed faces and wrote: “Obsessed.”
The ‘Us’ actress recently reflected on how much exercise benefits her mental health, but admitted she’d rather ‘play tag’ with her friends to stay active than hit the gym.
Lupita commented:
‘For me, exercising is a very important part of my mental health regimen. I find that I get very lethargic when I don’t exercise, and that changes my mood. For my own good, and the good of the people I’m dating, it’s better if I exercise. It’s regarding taking care of yourself. I’ve come to realize that working out doesn’t require a gym. You can exercise with your body weight, which I love. Personally, if I find ways to make my workouts easy to accomplish, I’m more likely to commit to them. I have a jump rope that I love to use. I’ll play tag with my friends and make my heart beat. I think moving is important.’
Lupita also talked regarding how she loves to find ‘new and amazing’ parts of Kenya when she returns to visit. She commented:
‘It’s always good to come home. I really want to spend time with family. I love visiting my country, because I always find it new and surprising. We have so much diversity and topography, our landscape. I like to go and explore different parts of the country. It never gets old to visit different parts of my house. I think you take it for granted until you leave, that’s when you really start to appreciate it.’
