the consortium LUMA Energy informed that, at noon today, Tuesday, more than a million of its clients had recovered the electrical servicenine days following the passage of hurricane fiona.
Specifically, 1,009,839 or 69% of subscribers already have electricity.
The San Juan region is the one with the most energized customers, with 95%. They are followed by Bayamón (93%), Caguas (70%), Arecibo (65%), Mayagüez (37%) and Ponce (29%).
LUMA has 1.5 million residential, commercial, industrial and government subscribers.
Regarding generation, the consortium reported that there is 1,860 megawatts in production.
