The isolation of Kaliningrad by Lithuania is in fact a declaration of war. This was stated by the leader of Belarus Lukashenko at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg.

“The ban on transit to Kaliningrad is ‘like a declaration of war’,” Lukashenko said. The meeting is broadcast by the Russia 24 TV channel.

State leaders are discussing the situation with fertilizers and their supply to the world market. The meeting is held behind closed doors. The meeting takes place on the day of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

Earlier, Western countries accused Russia of the global food crisis and blocking the export of grain from Ukraine. At the same time, as Putin noted, it is impossible to take out the grain due to the fact that the ports are mined by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In response, Lithuania staged a blockade of Kaliningrad – the EU imposed sanctions restricting the transit of goods from Lithuania to the Kaliningrad region.
