Lukashenka found investors in large microelectronics in Belarus | Belarus Technology Propaganda | AFN | Belarusian news | Republic of Belarus

Lukashenka named potential investors who want to invest in Belarusian microelectronics, which, according to him, is rather large, but there is still demand for it.

“Investors are showing great interest in Belarusian microelectronics. My recent visit to Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates is a direct confirmation of this. They are ready to cooperate with us and want to invest in the development of our industry, including microelectronics. Moreover, the amount of money is not even discussed,” Lukashenka said today.

“And this is despite the global trend towards not even micro, but nanoelectronics, when several players appeared who own technologies of the order of four nanometers. Our fairly large microcircuits remain in demand. They are reliable. But, as I understand it, it is necessary to move from large global microcircuits to small nanometers,” Lukashenka admitted the obvious and inevitable.
