Luka Elsner responds to Jackson Muleka and Joao Klauss: “They have nevertheless received opportunities”

The striker was loaned to Kasimpasa without an option to buy during this winter transfer window. For his first match with the Turkish club, the Congolese distilled an assistant before scoring a goal last weekend.

Jackson Muleka came out of silence this week and delivered his truths regarding his departure from Standard this winter. The striker believes that the management of Liège disrespected him and pushed him to leave the club this winter. Joao Klauss also spoke regarding the Rouches and the lack of trust given to him.

Luka Elsner wanted to respond to the outings of his two former attackers. “I would like to come back to the statements published in the media concerning Jackson and Joao. They are people that I appreciate very much, but certain remarks disturbed me like the fact that I would have lied by saying that Jackson wanted to leave or that I didn’t use them, didn’t trust them and put them aside,” explained the Rouches manager.

“You have to be a minimum objective and see their number of tenures”

“You have to be a minimum objective and see their number of starts, and what they have managed to do with them. Indeed, we can take it upon ourselves because our offensive animation was not fantastic. But Jackson started six times in championship since I’ve been there, the same for Joao. These two players have received opportunities. I’m a little disappointed with these outings… Jackson had spoken to me the evening before leaving, asking for a hand so that he might can join his new club. It’s a misunderstanding for me”, concluded Luka Elsner.
