Luis Palma reveals why he is no longer a starter at Celtic and his great desire with the H

Luis Palma He arrived in Honduras to concentrate with the National Team after a complicated start to the season with the Celtic FC in Scotland.

Luis believes that the Honduras national team has a lot to prove and must be strong at home in tournaments like the Nations League.

“We have put on a good face, this is step by step, we cannot say that we are ready to become champions, we need to gain experience to grow as a group. We have to make a statement at home, we hope for the support of the people, as a team we have the responsibility to win,” he said.

At the Bicolor level, Luis Palma has scored few goals, in this new advantage the Honduran legionnaire promises total dedication.

“We have to work hard, we hope that the goals will come from the national team. I’m going to give it my all, it’s an honour to be called up, many would like to be here. I want to get a win. These are going to be difficult matches, they are difficult teams and we have to work hard,” he said.

El Bicho admits that this new group of players is focused on going to the 2026 World Cup, but he takes each game responsibly.

“That is our responsibility, to qualify for a World Cup, go to a Gold Cup and play in the Nations League, we all have the same dream,” said the man from La Ceiba.

Palma will play in the Champions League for the second season in a row. Regarding the Champions League draw, he believes that Celtic did not do badly.

“For us it’s good, for us it’s an accessible group, we have a team with Celtic that can fight with anyone,” he concluded.
