Arráez homered in the top of the fifth inning off pitchers DJ Herz. The Venezuelan’s connection traveled 386 feet and had an exit velocity of 95.8 mph.
The infielder’s hit opened the scoring for the Friars, 1-0. The infielder finished 1-5 with a home run, an RBI and another run scored.
The native of San Felipe continues his fight for the batting lead, so in his last games he is batting .321, with nine hits, three runs brought to the plate, one scored, one home run in 28 visits to the batter’s box.

The native of Zulia made his last start last Monday, in which he lost against the New York Mets. Chirinos has not had his best season in MLB, as he has a record of 0-2 with a 6.30 ERA in six starts with the Marlins in 2024.
