A good life in Grand Theft Auto Online requires a lot of money. How convenient it would be if Rockstar suddenly gave away millions of in-game dollars to its users. This is exactly what happened to one lucky gamer.

Reddit forum user under the pseudonym Skraelos the other day toldthat for a request to refund $75 thousand in GTA Online, for some reason, the developers sent him much more – over $32 million.

For comparison: the most expensive payment card for GTA Online – “Megalodon” – gives access to “only” $ 10 million, but at the same time costs more than GTA V itself, as much as $ 100. In other words, Rockstar gave Skraelos more than $300 worth of virtual currency.

In conversation with PCGamesN the lucky man explained that he had lost the said $75,000 while trying to purchase supplies for his bunker in GTA Online. At the time of the transaction, the game crashed, the money was debited, but the goods did not arrive.

In the hope of returning the lost amount (albeit not too much by the standards of GTA Online), Skraelos wrote to Rockstar tech support, and when he next logged into the game, he was greeted with a message in the screenshot attached above.

“I have no idea how it happened. I do not plan to touch this money yet in case Rockstar takes notice and decides to write off this amount from me.Skraelos told PCGamesN.

In the comments on Reddit, they were happy for Skraelos, noting that he should be thanked by a specific Rockstar technical support worker or his cat, who walked over the owner’s keyboard at the time of entering the amount to be refunded.
