Lucid Motors⁢ Sets Sights on​ European Expansion

Lucid ⁤Motors,⁤ the California-based electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is gearing up for​ a significant expansion ⁢into​ the European market. Sources reveal that the company​ is planning​ to⁢ adopt a dealership network model adn ⁣increase the number of its⁤ showrooms across Europe.

Adding to its current presence in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland, Lucid is⁣ set​ to enter the ​Belgian market in‍ 2024. The automaker will make its debut at the Brussels Motor Show, scheduled⁢ from January 10th⁢ to 19th, 2025, where it is expected to formally announce ‌its⁢ expansion⁢ plans.

Lucid’s european ambitions extend‍ beyond Belgium.‌ The company ⁣is ‍poised to launch its high-performance Sapphire variant of⁢ the Air ⁢sedan in the first quarter of 2025. Following the Sapphire, lucid⁤ plans ⁣to⁣ introduce its Gravity SUV in early 2026, with orders opening​ in⁤ mid-2025. To broaden its appeal, Lucid ‍also has a midsized‌ model priced under $50,000 in the pipeline, slated for production in late 2026 and European arrival in 2027.

“Lucid⁢ is committed to providing a premium EV experience to European customers,” saidStefan Winterhoff, Lucid’s Chief Operating Officer, earlier this month.

“To ensure ⁤a seamless transition, we‍ will be expanding our ‍physical showroom network and implementing a tour with mobile pop-up stores in early 2025. Our aim is to make Lucid ownership⁤ accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”

Electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Motors is actively expanding its ⁢presence in the ‍German market. The company has announced plans to establish new studios in Berlin and Stuttgart, adding to its existing network. “We⁢ aim to operate between 10 and 12 locations across the country,” stated a Lucid representative.
