A Lucid Motors will reveal your long-awaited electric suv yet this year, more specifically in the month of November. It’s about the Gravitywhich was one of the points presented by the manufacturer, which took the opportunity to define the start of production, confirmed for the end of 2024.
However, this was not the only highlight of the company, which spoke about the new car in the second quarter results report. In this case, the company showed that it generated $150.9 million in the mentioned period, which means an increase of 55% in comparison with the previous year.
About Gravity, the company had initial plans to begin production of the electric SUV in late 2023 at its plant in Arizona. However, that date ended up being postponed and now, it seems that things are on track for the start of production of the car.
With the first details presented in 2020, the model had its progress stagnant due to problems in the production of another vehicle, the Air sedan. In addition, the last most recent update of the project took place in April of this year, when the brand tested versions of pre-production on public roads.
For now, Lucid Motors has not revealed the price of Gravity, but it is possible that it will establish a lower value than it had planned at the beginning. Finally, it is worth mentioning that it is trying to deliver on its goal of delivering up to 10,000 cars this year. After disclosing the financial results, the company saw its shares rise 4.5%.
