The Cordoban Luciana Periales, executive director of Neverland Parkwill lead the Global Association for the Attractions Industry (IAAPA) as president of the board in 2026. She will serve as first vice president in 2025 and will be second vice president of the Board of Directors in 2024. She is the fourth woman and fourth Latina to chair the association in 105 years.
Periales’ selection was made during an IAAPA board meeting on September 23 in Vienna, Austria, just before IAAPA Expo Europe opened its doors at the Messe Wien Congress and Exhibition Centre.
“With its strong positioning in the attractions industry, Periales continues his family’s legacy in his role at Neverland, which was founded by his uncle, Marcelo Periales. Under his leadership, Neverland remains committed to innovation, evolution and growth. Today the company has 30 entertainment centers in Argentina and Spain”, highlighted from the company born in Córdoba.
Periales has been a member of the IAAPA committee for more than a decade, including service on the Association’s Family Entertainment Center, Strategic Planning and Service Awards committees, as well as the IAAPA Board of Directors as chair of the Latin America and Caribbean Regional Committee.

What is IAAPA
It is the largest global association of attractions. Founded in 1918, it brings together leaders and companies, consultants and individual members from more than 100 countries. Members include professionals from amusement parks, theme parks, attractions, water parks, resorts, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums, cruise lines, manufacturers and suppliers.
The association’s global headquarters and North American office are located in Orlando, Florida. IAAPA also has offices in Brussels, Belgium, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Mexico City.
