With character, with arguments, without fear, Colombia tied against Brazil 1-1, a game in which Luis Díaz and Rafael Santos Borré forgave ‘la canarinha’.

It was a good draw where Brazil had no clear chances and in which the player considered one of the best in the world, Vinicius, did not find the spaces to do damage.

The best emotions came in the first half. In the 8th minute, with a left-footed free kick from James Rodríguez that hit the crossbar, the first opportunity for the Colombian National Team was created.

The first goal of the match was for Brazil from a free kick taken by Raphinha who nailed it into the corner of the south goal, where Camilo Vargas flew, but could do nothing to prevent the goal.

The goal came from a free kick, after a foul that was unnecessarily caused by James Rodríguez leaving the area.

In the 16th minute, James had another chance after an assist into the area from Jhon Arias. He tried to shoot without lowering the ball, but his left-footed shot went over the bar.

The equalising goal was scored by Daniel Muñoz, who remains a key player in the match.

Jhon Córdoba was in charge of filtering a pass to Muñoz who, as he has accustomed us to, entered from the right wing, with surprise and finished at the bottom and with force.

Colombia ends up as leader with James as its main figure

James was, without a doubt, the star of the game in this game. His sacrifice, his support in defense, his prodigious left foot and his leadership make him the best player of the Copa America USA so far.

The second half was one of control, Colombia dominated with judgment and class and erased any chance the Brazilians had when it came to attacking.

The team as a whole remains compact, united and supportive to support each teammate who moves within his natural position.

Luis Díaz did not manage to shine in the match, although he is a player who, due to his level, always drags two players behind him, which opens up spaces.

Already in the quarterfinals, the Colombian National Team will face Panama on Saturday, July 6.
