New talent for the Lucerne U21 team
The current champions of the Promotion League are strengthened with the arrival of Nathan Wicht. The 19-year-old midfielder, who is a Swiss national, has played through all the youth levels with German club 1860 Munich and has also been called up for the Under-19s, where he has scored one goal in six games.
On the Munich website, Wicht can be quoted as follows: “I’ve played for TSV 1860 Munich since the U13s. I am extremely grateful for the very good time I was able to spend in Munich. Now a new chapter is beginning for me in my home country, which I’m really looking forward to.”
FCL sports director Remo Meyer worked for 1860 himself and played for Munich in both the first and second Bundesliga. The traditional club is currently playing in the third Bundesliga. (sfr)
