Career of Lucas Boyé

Lucas Boyé was born on February 28, 1996 in Santa Fe, Argentina. He started playing soccer from the age of 5 and went through various small teams until he River Plate received it at the age of 14.

Boyé toured the inferior categories of El Millonario and made his debut in the first team in the round of 32 of the 2013-14 Argentine Cup. He then made his debut in the First Division in a match for the 2014 Transition Tournament, against Gymnastics and Fencing La Plata. He later scored his first goal in this category against Club Atlético San Lorenzo.

His first loan was to Newell’s in 2015 and in 2016 he was released from his contract with River. That year he went to Italy after signing for Torino, where he played for a year and a half before leaving on loan to AEK Athens in 2018.

Then in 2019 he went to League One for a season with the Reading F. C. and then flew to Spain to join the Elcheinitially on loan, and later the club exercised the purchase option.

Regarding his international career, Lucas Boyé had his debut in the Argentine National Team in March 2022 against Venezuela.

Transfer of Lucas Boyé to Granada CF

Lucas Boyé signed for Granada CF for four seasons. The rojiblancos reached an agreement with Elche to close the transfer of the striker for 6 million euros.

The Argentine became the fifth addition of the team in this market and arrived to cover the gap left by Samu Omorodion in Paco López’s scheme after signing for the Alaves.
